Hero Cassis
Hero the original cassis is a traditional Dutch product that has been made by Hero since 1938. Just like in 1938, the blackcurrants for Hero 'the original' cassis still come from the fertile clay soil of Zeeland. After the harvest, they are destemmed, crushed and pressed. Then some of the berries are subjected to a natural fermentation process, which releases hidden aroma and flavor components. This is where Hero the original cassis gets its full, round taste.
